I can't understand why people say they can't buy them on Ebay. You just have to be selective in what you look for and where.

I know some folks have had their bids stopped but that's because of the description mentioning the word knife. I bought one off of Ebay.com without any trouble at all because it didn't have that dreaded word in there just like this one whereas I think you'd have problems buying this one as it's got the dreaded word in the title.

That is the exact reasons why, my bids have been stopped, and that includes the well worded ones. i have had no problems securing other deals from the US, just this particular item.

I had the luck a found a brand new one at evilbay.com
Must say, it works like a treat and verry happy with it.

Now and then they come around, good luck with the find.

You could have a look at the Gerber Sportsman Honing Steel also.

I agree MartinK9 - I tried to bid on that very one before posting on here & had my bid blocked too. I did find one but he won't ship to the UK. Thanks for trying to help Mesquite, though. If you can get one then I'll buy it off you - how about our American members helping out??
