I sure it would be helpful to others, if you mentioned wether you have previous Archery experience.
Traditional, what exactly..traditional Asiatic, N.American, European , or good old English.

When do you need it by?

I will be building a number of Mesolithic/Traditional Flat/Holmegaard type bows early next year out of a variety of wood available at that time. The staves are seasoning as we speak.

They will all be between 25 and 30Lb if things go to plan and no more than 5'6".

It's all part of some very amateur experimental archaeology.
