Hi guys I'm after a Tatonka 1.6L billy if anyone has one they would be willing to part with?

For swaps I have 7m long bundles of genuine 550 paracord (cut fron the chutes)
A brand new hexi stove with fuel and the crusader cup holder
A black Osprey water bottle
An aluminium lid for a crusader cup

I may have other bits and bobs too so if you have one you would like to part with get in contact and see if we can have a deal.

Many thanks
Ben

Hello Mate

Long time no see :)
You may want to take at look at these as a good alternative to tatonka http://www.globetrotter.de/de/shop/detail.php?mod_nr=127442&k_id=1208&hot=0

I have been looking at these and am quite tempted, as the copper bottom will make for better heat distribution on the stainless steel

Hello mate how you keeping? Yeah its been a while. Kept a eye out for you at the wilderness but not sure if you made it last year?

Those billys look really good, thanks for pointing them out. Might be something to look into for a future purchase. Ideally I'd like to have a swap with someone as I'm trying to save my pennies at the mo hence not buying a new one :)

Hope your all well out there?

Was at the gathering last year mate but I got a bit carried away on the first night and ended up with an all weekend hangover so was mainly around my tent a lot of the time :)

Yeah I think its a bit shorter than the 10cm zebra but wider, which I think should make it a bit more usable for one person cooking. I use to use the little zebra and my crusader cup until I made a hobo stove with a 12cm zebra. Would like to try the tatonka now as I have heard good things about them.

Not tried it yet, been away for the last week. I've given it to the Mrs to use as she needed a small billy. Soon as she has given it a test run I'll swipe it and give it ago myself and report back. It looks really good but not sure if the copper base is going to make much difference. I really like the way the bail locks into position like the Tatonka billys, much easier to pour without a pot grabber. I think it maybe a little small for some folk like the 10cm zebra but the lid does double as a frying pan which is a bonus compared to the Zebra billys.
