Way out West
I made this set of matching wrist ties as a wedding gift on commission. The bride was vegetarian so my usual buckskin was out of the question. So instead i used linen yarn/ twine that i plied together for the warps then plied the warps in pairs and decorated them with a copper bead. I had tried several different knots at the end of the ties but in the end i used some scrap copper to make crimps to hold the ends of the ties together.
. I used slightly wider wampum beads for the mans bracelet and also a much more subtle paua disk.
