I picked a load for pickling
This was at home in Wiltshire
Now back in Devon I have another tree, however the nuts are more advanced, they are about 2 inches long (my wiltshire nuts are mainly a two thirds of this)
are these too big to pickle? I tried one with the needle, they are still soft
