My first peg-and-socket joint went really well, I managed to produce a joint with no gaps which surprised me
It was a whole lot easier than I expected it to be and I managed to judge the depth of the cut on the peg just about perfectly. One thing I did do was to try out the forstner bit on an old bit of branch first. I just have to put the ferrule on the bottom to finish it off now.
ps: Oh, and the white band is a bone spacer
