Would really like a large Bowie that isn’t a display piece made in China. Wondering if anyone has a Von Tempsky, appreciate feedback from any owners.

I've got one. Very heavy. Very solid. Handle not a good shape. Still a nice thing though. How about a junglas? Much lighter, better handle, still solid. Although not a Bowie, I rate the skrama 240.
Money no object? busse, swamp rat might be your friends.

Probably a few hundred if see something I particularly like but quite flexible. Just like them more as objects rather than functional tools where much cheaper options are available.

I have a one off custom I*XL Bowie forged by Harry Lovejoy who ran P. Henry & Sons in Sheffield. He sent it for review to "Survival Weaponry & Techniques" Magazine in 1989. I bought it from David Crossley who reviewed and owned it. It even comes with a tatty but original copy of the magazine :)

It's a real piece of history from a great maker

If that's the sort of thing you are looking for, let me know & I can take better pictures & we can discuss price
