British Pattern 1937 (P37) Webbing Waist Belt – Vintage Military – £35 posted REDUCED now £20
Original vintage British/Commonwealth Pattern 1937 webbing waist belt from my late husband’s collection.
Heavy woven cotton webbing with brass fittings, including the characteristic front clasp, internal C-hook waist adjustment system and two rear buckles for attachment of the shoulder braces.
Approximately 2 inches wide and currently adjusted to approximately 29 inches, with considerable further adjustment available via the internal woven loops.
The belt is in used vintage condition with age-related marks, discolouration and some wear/fraying, particularly around the rear brace attachment tabs. Please see photographs for condition.
I have been unable to find a clearly readable maker or date stamp, so although P37 equipment was extensively used during WWII, I am not claiming this particular example as WWII-dated.
It has been left exactly as found — the webbing has not been washed and the brass has not been polished.
Thanks for looking.
