Picked this up from the carboot on Saturday, as far as I can tell it dates from the 60's, needs a clean but apart from that its in cracking shape, also got a silva type 2 compass thrown in with it too, not bad for £5

There's a hard and less so approach to restoration. The latter involves no more than steam cleaning the fabric (you might get lucky with the mottling), wire wool clean up of the rusting/tarnished frame and buckles, then bucket-loads of Neatsfoot oil or some such on the leather.
