I use one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRBRUSH-...Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item439aed185b if you have a bit to do well worth the money, you can achieve a very even stress free finish with a bit of practice and it uses a ridiculously small amount of dye or finish compared to brushes/daubers/sponges and so on so you can save the price of the airbrush in 2 pots of dye, hope it helps
