Asymmetric cooking spoon in well seasoned, dead dry, rock hard Beech, worth the effort though for the superb flecks, rays & grain, off the knife finish.

Beautiful, practical!
Beech was the preferred wood for kitchen utensils on mainland Europe and southern Scandinavia.

@crosslandkelly - Im getting there, still a bit rough round the edges

@Robson Valley the rim is 1/16" thick at best, picture is deceptive as the rim is at a 45 degree angle making it look considerably wider than it is.
