I appreatiate all suggestions as long as they fit the basics of spear point and uk made and legal carry which while i say it is very limiting i am happy to look at everything mentioned to see if i like them and just to find poosible buys for the future and thanks everyone for the imput and the difficultness of myself

The problem is that there are not that many UK makers of folding knives. Of those, there are even fewer who make spear points. If those are out of your range, you can probably save yourself looking at any sole craftsman made knives, and will have to go with something more mass produced. Again, not much choice.

I didn't post them before because you said "good" and they are at the cheaper end of the scale!

Edit. Never mind.

What is your budget for this? It'll help guide the suggestions.

Otter Messer might be worth a look. I'd say a step up from Wrights (if not two), but may not come in the right flavour steel for you.

Moonraker Accessories has a decent range of their models.

Why buy new? You'd probably do better to keep an eye out for quality used knives on this site and others like it, plus maybe Marketplace, and Ebay. If you get to know the makes, it'll be easier to spot one coming up for sale.

Have you joined Edge Matters?
You have to register to read, and subscribe to buy, but it is cheap, and while small, it is knife-centred, whereas this place is more outdoors skills centred, despite all the sales threads.
