Here's a naive question, what's the fabric good for? As in, is it light and a tight weave, is it water repellent or just quick drying (or not, but I'm presuming it is), good for hot weather or better for cold as a top layer etc... And is that you with a 64" chest wearing it? I'm running at about 60" so that will be a good gauge.

Hello Tony ,

Just put a tape across it pit to pit it is 34" ,,

Its a good medium tight weave fabric , its not waterproof it would take a fabric conditioner very well ,

As for usage the Airborne forces of the 60/70s used the OG Trousers where ever they served

hope it helps

Thank goodness that was too big for me or I would have been having one of those awkward discussions with my wife, you know that odd concep of "too many jackets"
