Trying to find Field Book Covers

Guys, my first post!

Was recently in kenya and all the guides with us kept their field books in zip up material covers. Tryed to find some in the uk with little sucess. Does anyone know where i could find some

I use a guide book cover made by Outdoor Designs which works a treat on walking guide books etc. There is a nice elastic retaining strap that makes a handy bookmark and the cover zips shut to keep out rain and muck.

Is that the sort of thing you were after?

the outdoor designs one looks like what I am after, don't know if they were ex millitary but they were in olive green so could have been. Need them to fit a couple of the collins gem books, mushrooms and trees (trying to learn what I am actually looking at!)

Try one of these, I used to use them a lot before I became addicted to moleskine notebooks. They're extremely water repellent and durable to the point of being stupid.

The latter link is environmentally friendly. It doesn't get much more bushcraft than that.
