Trip out with Hugo & Rock Monkey - Pics

Enjoyed a cracking day out today with Hugo & Rock Monkey, we went up the woods with a view to doing some carving and searching for some Pyrite and of course to have a right old laugh as well.

then we did a bit of carving, before we knew it, it was time for lunch, so i made us some Banana pancakes, then some Apple pancakes, then some plain ones

from the left, spoon bowl & spoon - by Rock Monkey, spatula, spoon, spatula - by me, spatula & four spoons by Hugo - the man is a spoon carving machine, cant keep up with him, mind you he didnt sand them properly, so they dont count:rolleyes:

Before long it was time to pack up and take a very leisurely wander back to the cars

Kepis mate, you forgot to add the walking staff that I made as well. ha ha.
Rockmonkey many thanks for the kind donation of the biggest piece of most interesting iron pyrite to Hugo's growing collection.
Thanks to Mr Badger as well for his kind words. !

Oh yes folks, Hugo cut a stick as well :)

Mind you it will make a superb stick when its finished, one of those rare ones that is almost straight right off the tree.

Looks like Jason Donovan was in camp with us today, what do you think Mark.
Also some really old looking bloke with glasses. ha ha.

Forgot to say thanks for the kind remarks about the knife projects that I showed you guys, also for the re modelling of the small whittler, all it needs now Mark is a Good Sanding and another coat of oil.
