Tree Saps

Im curious to what other tree saps are edible

I know of birch (mm)
,maple
,hickory
and I think some species of alder

Does anyone know of anymore

I know sycamore (as a variety of maple) is useful - just produces less than the sugar maples of N America.

Not technically a sap but cherry gum was used to make chewing gum.

does pine ressin count? you can also chew that, its the conifer equivalent of sap

you can eat pine resin at a push but dont try any spruce yuk!!
