a colleague who owns an (inactive) farm in Ireland (nu clue where and how large) asked me if I knew of corporations that could be interested in tree planting in order to offset their carbon output. I guess theidea is to rent the ground to the corporation so that they plant trees there and be warranted some carbon credit.
I know some on the board are working in forestry. Converting farm land to forest should appeal to many of us, so if anyone has a pointer it is welcomed.
