Just finished this great book by Robert Louis Stevenson (of Treasure Island fame). Not exactly a bushcraft book. It's his travel journal of a 120 mile trip through the Cervenne area of France with a donkey. He has a very fresh writing style describing a pretty pioneering trip (travel for the sake of travel).

His walk has now become the French GR70 grande randonnee route, I walked the route in 2005 between the 25th April and 5th May and read the book as I walked
