Hi all, going to transylvania in a weeks time. Seems like our host are into spas etc. but I fancy a bit of hiking. Stupid question for the region I suppose, but can anyone recommend anywhere?

Don't know about trekking but classic horror lines are a must if you're heading there.
There are some massive salt mines that you can wander - even drive around that are supposed to be worth a look.

Transylvania is a big place, where will you be staying?
I can recommend the Fogaras Mtns, not really a days bimble though.
