Transport Idea's

I was planning on using the train to get from Warrington to north Wales next weekend and do an overnighter with my lad, But looks like no trains are running on the Sunday (which would of been our returning day)

Anyone have any other idea's, transport wise ?

checked that out too, nearest iirc is porthmadog, which is mileeeeesssss away lol

Hi,
Have you thought about trying the Clwydian range? You can get come good walks and the views are great. I wild camped when I was doing the Offa Dyke some time back.
It might be easier to get to/from - Mold or Prestatyn or Llangollen?
'Fraid that I've got no idea about trains or buses for this area.

Alternatively - Peak District? Train from Liverpool - Norwich goes through and stops at several good jumping off places, there is a Transpeak coach service too (Manchester - Nottingham)- not sure if it runs on Sunday though.
