Trangia pots & pans over fire...

Is this a no go? I don't want to melt my kit so will buy stainless steel if need be.

It makes a bit of a mess of them over time but they'll not melt, stainless cleans up a bit better though.

All my bushy pots are black on the outside so you can leave it if it doesn't bother you.

On a similar note... does anyone have any great ideas for hanging a civi Trangia pot over a fire?

I'm considering drilling holes on the sides and running wire hanger through...
