I wouldn't think he'll would work as the stove are designed to soak the meths up via a kind of wick.

Also please don't attempt to use bio fuel if you were planning to use bio fuel that is a petrol replacement, if you do you stand a good chance of doing a good impression of a fireball!

Where in the UK do you live? Meths is one of the widest available fuels for stoves I have found, any good diy store will stock it, b&q home base etc will all stock it.

Bio fuel is a no no, Bio Ethanol works fine.

As has been said, the Trangia burner isn't designed nor intended to burn gel and wouldn't feed up through the wick in the double wall.

You can use gel in a Trangia, it may not be optimum but so long as it burns then there is heat, I have used the gel from B&Q that seems to be thinner than the fuel4 gel and cheaper, and is good enough.
