Trangia Burner

Thinking of getting a Honey Stove because of it's versatility in different fuels & I like the idea of primarily using it as a wood burner. Can anyone give me an idea of how long the burn time is with a Trangia burner.

I don't use meths as a rule but I'm getting fed up carrying gas canisters so thinking of giving meths a go this Winter. Also you can drink it too!!!!!

Para, wouldn't recommend Meths over Gas for the winter. I'd recommend something that burns a petroleum distillate. Meths doesn't burn very hot at the best of times, but slower in the winter.

Good complement for the Honey stove I suppose, if you're not in a rush.

nico, was watching some winter tests on various stoves on Youtube last night & gas came out the worst!! It was by some American oldtimer who designed the White Box Stove - can't remember his name. Not doubting you, mate, as you'll know better than me I'm sure!! Confused now...............
