Good morning,
I've been away working all winter and have been really busy .
First thing is sorry for any unanswered mails etc

Just bought a penman army trailer to attach a frame and rooftop tent to .
Hopefully will be using this this summer so will keep you all updated

Interested to hear how you get on with this :)
We had neighbours who made a lot of use of one of those pop-up tent trailers, the commercial ones. They said it was as comfortable as a caravan and a lot less bother to tow and to store. They used it in all weathers too, with two little kids.

Nice trailer; I look forward to seeing how that goes.

Though, in reality, you should pass it on to someone with a Defender so it's towed at the right height (unless you've got one parked around the corner of course) :)

Yes I have an adjustable height hitch fitted now with NATO hitch .
Plus 7.50 tyres have been replaced with 235,60 for a lower stance

And before anyone else mentions land rover the answer is I don't own one , but I have owned a few and driven and towed numerous in the past which is why I love the luxury of my modern 4x4 . No more window slid open in winter so I have room for my arm not that it ever made much difference when shut to comfort I have a nice warm heated seat nowadays which is nice

Watched this just recently, fantastic trailer.
Love the keeping it simple thing .
We did consider buying a ready made trailer £££££££££ nearly 20 to be exact, thought about all the pull out draws and sink and cooker etc etc again loads of cash and I might as well buy a caravan if I want a sink lol.
So like the guy in this video we are keeping things simple and enjoying the camping
