A sample of critters, including wolves (& a few cubs), frequenting a small forest clearing in the French Alpes ( les Hautes-Alpes to be precise) during 2019/20 (Not by me). I watch quite a few trail cam vids of wolves on Youtube but this one is particularly good. The location appears to be a real hub of wildlife activity & even a lost nudist hiker wanders through ( Don't worry, nothing graphic)

Featuring but not in order of appearance;
Foxes,
Roe deer,
European wolves,
Red deer,
Brown hare,
Fieldfare,
Badger,
Chamois,
Wild boar,
Marten, (pine ? beech ?)
Human,
Black grouse.
Oops...forgot the wood pigeons.

They have an extra layer to their world, the world of scent and smell don't they? Many scent marked the area, virtually all of them stopped to investigate different scent spots and no doubt knew who had been there before them, and how long ago. So much knowledge gathered that we would miss if we went there, but to them it was a busy junction full of information. It's nice to see such a variety of species too.
Good find L n'M.. :thumbsup:

Footage appears to be a few years old but the vid is fresh off the press. This is in the Provence region. Quite a few wolves. :)
