Tragic Accident

Those of you that were at the last Scottish meet and the North meet will know that I was selling some beautiful knife blades made by a good friend of mine, Stefan Hugel of Tromso.

I have just heard that Stefan died in a tragic accident last week. He was out hunting, when he walked off a cliff in dense fog. He was killed instantly.

I cannot begin to express my feelings at this time and my thoughts go out to his wife and family at this time.

Words can never fill the gap that is left at times like these. Thoughts and prayers for those left behind.

My condolences to you and his family, I'm sure he will be sorely missed.

May he carry on his art in a greater place.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by this sad news. I was handling one of his beautiful blades only an hour ago and felt a connection through them. Then I came online and read this post. I am at a loss for words.

How terribly tragic. Although I do not know who this poor guy is, my thoughts are also with him, you, and his family.

As Eric said, my only connection is having seen his amazingly beautiful work. It's a big loss, and I feel for his family and friends.
