A friend's birthday is coming up at the end of the month, and he really loves tracking.
I thought it'd be good to get him a book on tracking and wildlife.
Does anyone know of any? I looked around Waterstones but couldn't see any, except for generic wildlife books, some of which had silhouettes of animal prints.
Just wondered if there was a book out there, based on British wildlife, with hints and tips on how to spot signs of habitation, tracks etc, and a few practical tips.
Cheers for any recommendations.

I've used Bang and Dahlstrom since the mid 70s.

Pictures of Wild boar and Wolverine tracks in the snow seemed unimaginably exotic to a twelve-year-old boy growing up in Hampshire.
