Sounds like I need to try a more modern Leatherman, but strewth!!!, have you seen the prices these days?
As I said in a different thread I hve one of the original LMT's, use it a fair bit but don't really like it, don't get me wrong, it does the job but for most tasks feels horrible in the hand, all raw edges and weak locking. Are the newer designs really that much better?
Incidentally I often put a cheap pair of 5" "mole" type grips in my bag & find those with a SAK cover a lot of options.
