8pm BBC 2 - The accidental angler - searching for wild brown trout, starting in the Thames and taking in some of the most glorious landscape the country has to offer.
9pm BBC 1 - Planet Earth - Woodlands around the world.

If you enjoy the Accidental Angler you should seek out the Australian ABC TV series "A River Somewhere" Similar fodder for the brain, done a bit earlier, with a couple of seasoned aussie comedians who've gone a bit serious about flyfishing.

Also very enjoyable was part 2 of "Planet Earth - the future" on BBC4 last night
which I'm pretty sure will be repeated tomorrow at 7pm as it was last week.

Good programmes they were too, I then watched Panorama as my brother was the main man on it!! And his beard still looks really nasty! :yikes:

Yup, we're all called Spam, all four of us brothers, my dad, his dad and probably his dad before that!!!!
