Howdy all,
amongst my clearout items is a TNF darkstar sleeping bag, rated down to -30!!!
This was/is there top of the range synthetic sleeping bag designed for extreme mountain use. Filled with polarguard 3d with multiple baffles on zip's, neck etc. Packs down into a inbuilt bag in the foot which doubles as a warm storage compartment to stop boots etc freezing during the night. I'm 6'1 and WIDE and i have plenty of space even with boots at the end and fleeces keeping warm inside for the morning. This is a BEAST of a bag which retailed for around £250 when i bought it and have spent 24 nights in total in it.
As you would expect from a 5 season synthetic bag the pack size is pretty big, this bags only downfall. The outer is in a stunning purple bronze ripstop material with the base in black with a lite w/p coating.
Has been used down to -20 (not by me) in a bivibag and needed to be ventilated by it' s occupent
So if you feel the cold or are off anywhere nasty treat yourself for £60 +p'n'p for this A1 condition bag
