Loughborough branch has trekmates bivvy bags at 19.99, trekmates expedition hammocks at 12.99 plus fleece sleeping bag liners and mossie nets.

Hope this is useful info

Seems like a decent price on the bivvy bag seeing as retail is £34.99. I don't know how well it performs though.

I bought some of their Merino wool gear from T K Maxx and I've been very pleased with it for the price.

Problem with T K Maxx is that often other branches never seem to have any stock of certain items so it's totally hit and miss whether anybody else will find the same deal.

I have used the bivvy bag for over a year and it is fine. Light at 366grams, breathable and good waterproofing. I found a site once that was dedicated to bivvy bags (something like bivvybags.co.uk) which reckoned they are a top buy. Anyhow, I'm happy with mine so I thought I'd post the info for others to get a chance to get one at a reasonable price.

Yes tkmaxx seem to have erratic stock levels! Can't wait to try out the hammock I bought there yesterday:)

I love tkmaxx at the minute. I have got myself a new regatta jacket and trousers + two pairs of walking socks for about £40
