Just a quick note; the millets tipi mentioned in these threads 1 2 (some people have had success modifying them) has dropped in price again. Its now only £39.99. One more drop in price and I may be convinced to buy one. ;)

Edit: 'spoze a link wouldn't hurt

Yet a further price drop, to £29.99
At that price I couldn't convince myself any longer that I didn't want one ;)

At that price they would make a good buy for a play tent in the summer for kids. don't think they'll last long though.
Crikey, a tipi like that would have made cowboys and indians sooo much better when i was young :)

Take it back, get a refund and buy it again.

I'm planning to buy one at this price, but may hold out a bit longer...

That's a very valid point. I bought something from Millets on Saturday (a firefly lamp) and wasn't sure if it would fit my nalgene bottle. When I asked, the chap in the shop said not to worry, if it doesn't fit you've got 90 days to bring it back.

I spent the night in mine last night!
Got up to 35 C in there with the stove going, we were sweating in just T shirts but it was 10 C outside so not cold really.

well it arrived this am.

standard groundsheet, very lightweight looking fabric.. heavy heavy steel pole... I'll see if my canoe pole will double up on this.

for the money I can't complain, but I think modding will be neccessary.. now where's that fabsil?
