Timezone, or the Day the Vikings came to School

The living history group Timezone came to my sons school today. Viking day! I first met them last year when it was the Romans turn.

Well, my little boy loved it! This is him in costume (I made a kyrtle for him and a cardboard Bearded Axe )

I had a chat with the guy who ran the event and he might have an opening for someone in this area as they are in the midst of a big expansion. He got my contact details and will be in touch. Gods, that would be my dream job! Who knows, give it 20 years and I might be in shouting distance of Weyland
