From that first photo I thought it was just an intricate carving, but to make a working watch almost entirely out if wood? Absolutely amazing!!

I found this in another article, this time in the Daily Mail (link).

Валери Даневич (Valerii Danevych) must take after John Harrison (link) and probably some other watchmakers. But his work is most unusual and amusing. I wouldn't like to have to find a watchmaker to work on one of his in the UK!

Amazing, I have seen ols church clocks made of wood before but a watch is totally diffrent
