Transport museum, Kelvingrove, Hunterian Museum, or there's a continental market on in St Enoch's square which will be a good lunch if last years was anything to go by :D there was someone selling leather stuff, and a lady selling bows and arrows, etc., (I think she got in bother with the police though, but she was within the law) Provand's Lordship's worth a nosey too  and while you're up that end of the town away and have a wander around the Necropolis hill.....amazing amounts of wildlife right in the middle of the city :) Deer and the like.

cheers,

You could go hunting for some nice wood for projects, Stuart69 put me onto this place the other day ...

I've not been yet but I will next time I'm up

Nice - and handy being near the city centre. Anyone travelling up the M74 into woodcrafting, this place is worth a half hour (+ an hour just inventing things to do with the beatiful selection of wood) diversion as well.

Re Day in Glasgow, Kelvingrove is a great shout - very impressive museum.

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
My wife and I both liked the Kelvingrove museum when we went up there for a weekend a few months ago.

Yeah we did the whole Kelvingrove thing when we first moved in. Great museum and a cracking restaurant in the basement. I was looking at the snow place at braehead but not sure how bad/good it is plus want to do something together and missus isn't into boards or skis.

Went caving last year, and in door ice climbing the year before so this year feels like a bit of let down lol.

There's the indoor climbing wall at Ibrox ?
The ski slope is the brushes kind and if it's wet you'll get saturated :(

How about a jaunt out and climb Ben A'an ?

It's not that high, so it doesn't count in all those lists that folks tick off, but it's in a perfect spot :D from the top you can see right round the Trossachs.
Takes about an hour or so to climb, and if the weather's miserable it's not as though you're stuck out on the hill all day, but you get a couple of hours good exercise and if the sun breaks through, some stunning views :D

How about the cruises on Loch Lomond or Loch Katrine ?
