The tale of two Cyclops Rocs

Very nice so far. Looking forward to seeing the end result!
One of my first bergens was a Centurian, effectively a Roc with the zip-on pockets.
Upgraded to a Vulcan which is still going after 20 years.
Canvas though... mmmm!

update time ....

knocked up a couple of side pouches today using some of the canvas from the kit bags .

I used a PLCE side pouch as the pattern

The zips came off a ECM bergen that I removed all the unwanted bits from .







And the end result .



Back to the main body next , strap replacement and maybe a front dump pouche

Update time

Made up the front dump pouche today and stiched it on .







In keeping with the age of the pack I used a SMG sling clip ..Nice and old school



Very happy how it went on I had to hand stiche the edges just to be sure .

Next up the side pouches

That's a really nice addition. Love the smg clip. 58 webbing was pretty much held together with them.
