Is the purpose of the Word Association game to a) increase Forum throughput so it shows up in search engines b) to increase individual's post count or c) just fun? or, possibly, all three?

I do it for a bit of fun, wherever possible I try to get obscure links to the previous word used

Educational, most forums have something similar to this, or a 3 word one,
I would not say it has anything to do with increasing an individuals post count, or that it would show in search engines, it's just a bit of fun really.

Just amusement, it's a game you can join or leave at any time.

I would say C is the primary purpose; A and B happen as a result of it though.
