TNF Basecamp duffle bag
The ubiquitous bombproof expedition duffle made from a heavy duty waterproof tarp type material, with a reinforced base (feels like cordura / ballistic nylon).
I have another one of these bags which is 15 years old that I kindly loaned to a geologist friend, who then literally filled it full of rocks and dragged it around spanish mountains. They’re awesome bits of kit that keep out the worst of the weather, so are great when setting up at camp.
This is the medium version in the original red which is 71 litre, 25 x 14 x 14 inches by the label.
- Has a large zip pocket at one end, with a mesh pouch inside.
- grab handles on either end and on the sides, rather than big loopy handles.
- rucksack style shoulder straps that can detach
- compression straps to reduce the volume, if it’s light loaded
- huge main zippers
- daisy chains along the side to lash it down to a roof rack / donkey / your partner
Condition:
A few scuffs from storage but looks as new, bar being flattened.
I have another of these so I don’t think this has been used, other than to store my other bags. As such it’s in pretty great condition and still seems to have the silica gel sachet in.
Comes with the TNF strap that can be used to store the bag rolled up / flattened for easy storage.
