Spec: 2 1/2" recurve blade in 3mm 01 steel, heat treated to 59HRC.
Handle is red G10 + yellow vulcanised fibre liner.
Scabbard is made with 8oz tooling leather.
Blade grind is a flat primary at 16deg total & 40deg secondary final edge

You are spot on Rob,Yes a customer asked me to make a gardeners pruning knife in my style,I am making another one for another customer so I will have a go cutting leather and report back
