No idea if it would still work. The tombs were pretty much air tight and of course Egypt is very hot so I suppose it maybe possible. I think they used to bury any items they thought the deceased would need for the journey to the afterlife
Along with all the rich and elaborate objects, the tomb contained some more humble and practical objects, such as this firelighter or fire stick.
I liked this comment,puts everything into context about modern man,gold and riches first then, oh bye the way heres a humble fire stick nice, quaint is'nt it,Now wheres all them lovely riches for me me me!!!.
My point is give me the humble and pratical anytime.
