Good luck to him I hope he succeeds in his attempt ,but to me Tommy Godwin record will never be beaten 75,065 miles in 365 days and then on to do 100,000 miles in 500 days all on a bike with 4 gears (not the best roads back then , granted not as much traffic )and all on a diet of bread, cheese, milk ,and eggs

It's all explained on the website.

Tackling a record last set by Tommy Godwin in 1938. Thought to be unbeatable.

Nothing is unbeatable.....what one man can do, another can too ;)

Fair enough if he's just having a jolly and has the time to spare....very best of luck to him but I've got better things to spend my time doing (imo obviously lol). I wondered if it was a charity thing or if his great grandad set the record or something. I guess something's are done....just because they are there to do :)

When I first looked at this thread, and with it being near the festive period, I thought it was going to be a look at the difficulties and differences between cracking hazel nuts and walnuts lol :)

Cheers,

Bam. :)

bloody hell he's going to hurt! over 200 miles a day! I do 25-ish km on Uni days and that's bad enough! (not that bad actually, I'm just a whiner )
Good luck to him!
