AS of tommorrow i will be toddling off to here : www.cherrywoodproject.co.uk for a week fo volunteering, camping, green woodworks and cammping out under the stars. I hope to do lots of carving and learn some more about green woodwork- the stool i made last time sits in my shed where i carve now.

io would reccommend the courses to everyone, I will try and get some pics for when i get back.here's a few from last time:

I dont like to gloat but thats just up the path from the back of my house
I regularly bimble about around there and did do one days volunteering at the project
Volunteers do all sorts of stuff I"helped" on a log cabin they were making-I think fairly obviously it depends what they are doing on the day you volunteer
its great and Tim knows his stuff alright
If I wasn't off to Wales I might have popped up to see you

got back yesterday, had a great time, worked some more on the log cabin, cleared some bamboo by the lake, turned a few bit son the pole lathe and carved a bowl. I would reccommend it to anyone, especially volunteer thursdayas, loadsa good people and food, i mean what other woodland has its own live in chef?
