My sister's boyfriend asked me earlier what the ''6 P's'' where, As he'd seen/heard it well watching a program about the Military on the weekend, He and my family that were present were querying and laughing for awhile.

Through the power of Google, I've found that there are variants of 5 Ps, 6 Ps, 7 Ps, 10 Ps and 12 Ps.....

My 6 are Proper preparation prevents poor performance.

I'm inclined to agree with you but in project management the planning and preparation stages are separate. You might plan to cook a lasagne (what you need, when you're going to do it etc.) then prepare the ingredients before the actual execution.
Surely 'planning and preparation' are inherently 'prior' - you can't plan and prepare after the event
