TGO Challenge 2009

I have been given a place on the TGO Challenge 2009 (Coast to coast across scotland) does anyone have any advice/tips?

Is anyone else doing this?

All advice is welcome including which wisky to take!!!

Take your time and enjoy the hills. Remember, it's not a race.

Have a look at trail runner type shoes instead of boots. Infact, look at all your kit and go a lightweight as you can. That way you can take the extra bottle of whiskey.

Yup, many times. Usually as a straight lean-to, very low to the ground.
