I'm selling my tipi to upgrade... now I have somewhere to dry and store it properly Im going to get a heavy canvas one.

Anyway, it's been used a few (12 nights I think) times but I've never had a fire in it so it's completely free from any sort of damage. Hell, I dont even smoke!

I also got with it the Floor Comfort 7 and had it modified so you don't tread dirt all through it.I'll throw in a set of nail type pegs too as the Tentipi ones are useless.

So... new this would cost £625.00 so I guess £450 is a reasonable amount to ask for. I can bring to the wilderness gathering if anyone wants or post (recorded/insured) at buyers cost. It'd be a pig to deliver so I'd prefer to deliver at the wilderness gathering if anyone's interested.

Cheers,

Joe

Hi Joe, I'm a Vagge5 owner & wonder how you get the 'snow-skirt' to lay like it does in your photo? I always have loads lying flat on the ground catching vast pools of water when it rains! One Tentipi owner I met made something to add 2" to the pole to get a better pitch - this would be awkward with a floor or inner though I'd have thought.

The photo is a stock one from the tentipi site... I don't actually have a photo of mine.

However when I pitch it it just goes up "right" there's just the right skirt around the edges and everything just sort of fits every time.

I have no useful advice on the baggy problem - sorry!

Wahey! I found £1000 down the back of my sofa and the Varrie/Safir 9 is being ordered this month...

As a result of this good furtune and my incredibly good mood I'm willing to sell the vagge 7 and comfort floor for £350.

If anyone's interested, please PM me... i'm going to take some photos tonight.

Hi Sparksfly... it seems that nobody wanted to meet my (very reasonable I thought) asking price so i'm going to keep it for lightweight or solo trips out.

I guess everyone is feeling the pinch.

Cheers anyway though, Joe.
