No, never fear, I do not intend actually using it.

I just picked it up as another bit of horn fun...Its heavier than plastic and much stronger.

I asked the seller its history and she said it had belonged to her aunt...No idea how old.

one day Ill do some hornwork of my own.

Clean it thoroughly and just use it I reckon
Almost unbreakable, doesn't go brittle like plastic, doesn't 'tear' at your hair.
You could use it as the start of a really 'good' vanity set. Individual choice pieces that just work properly and will last you out.
