Telescopic Fishing Kit ?

Top sections are prone to getting jammed out on these rods, maybe use a little slip agent on them! good light rods for the canoe!

I don't have any personal experience of the Instant Fisherman, but the reviews for it online seem universally awful.

I've had a telescopic rod for 10 years or so - very occasional usage - and it's great. "Real" fishermen always explain to me how the telescopic ones are no good (no feel, always jam or break eventually), but it seems fine to me.

For me, fishing is never really a primary goal for a trip, so I usually just pack a hand line. The whole kit fits into a geometry set box. If I think I'll need a longer cast, the telescopic rod comes along. I only do sea fishing.

I have had the shorter of the two Lidl rods for over five years,it's been brilliant on over ten wild brown fishing trips on Dartmoor and I'm considering buying another as a spare.
