6. DESCRIPTION: Spare rod purchased, but it's not gonna get used to be honest, as I'm favouring one of their other travel rods. I've downsized to the similar Shimano 1000 reel for better balance for that, so including this 3000 reel as a sweetener, and it seems to fit this rod perfectly. There's about 50m of Maxima 6LB Chameleon Line, Brown.
The rod is £69 on Amazon currently, the reel new is circa £25...and it's really very smooth.
This will make a great starter set-up or a very decent backup for the car or your travels.
