Have a tatonka tarp 2 (in silnylon), with a straight 400mm tear in it, which happened on my last camp.
(A friends brain went missing for a few seconds whilst throwing skull sized flint nodgels around, Doh!!!)
you can amagine my face...

Will need it again soon, :D
so was thinking of trying to fix it, have a few ideas,
but thought I would bounce the problem off of the bushcraft thinktank...
incase I'm being really dumb...

All replies gratefully recieved, Goat

Try a strip of Tyvek Tape on either side of the tear.

Tyvek Tape is strong and waterproof to the degree that it's routinely used to repair Packrafts, tarps, tents, waterproof clothing and gear, permanently.
