I like sycamore for kitchen stuff, I really do. It's always clean, it's easy to handle, it's resilient and it lasts well. I have sycamore pieces that are as old as I am, and I have worked with dough troughs that are over a hundred and fifty years old and they're still absolutely brilliant tools.

Nice spoonage there Kepis :D I'm sure it'll be appreciated :cool:

Top spoonage again! And great that you give a little gift back to your wood supplier - people like to see what their wood has made, and it keeps them sweet for future wood supply!
